Kootenai County Sheriff Ben Wolfinger has publicly stated that the sheriff's department is "...a paramilitary organization...." which you can see at 56:00 minutes in this video. He's also stated that federal law trumps state law. He's also been invited to several 2nd amendment rallies and has declined. His viewpoints towards federal government supremacy are cause for great concern. For this reason Idaho Constitutional Sheriffs has rated him as needing replaced in the next election.
